Portfolio Website
A showcase of the Team 3 portfolio websites
Overview
A portfolio is a compilation of materials that exemplify your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience. It is a representation of you and your work. It shows your skills and the projects you've completed. Unlike a CV, a portfolio gives a visual representation of your work. A good portfolio should show who you are, the things you do and your projects. When employers see it, they should have an idea of who you are, what it is like to work with you and what projects you have done.
Task
Design a portfolio website with sections about me, work, skills, and contact. 5 per team—2 people can work on one.
Design Plan
Research
The process for this task was very straightforward. So we decided to source for inspiration from related websites and platforms (Behance, Dribble, etc.) so we could have an idea on the general layout for portfolios.
Word Done
We all decided to design a portfolio website for ourselves, and the portfolio websites would have four major sections in common:
- About
- Projects/Work
- Skills/Services
- Contact
As for additional sections, that was left for us to decide on as regards our designs.
